energy healing brings us deeper into connection with self and is inherently rooted in the utmost love, compassion, and tenderness. it has been one of the most affirming practices of my life and something that i feel deeply humbled to both receive and to share. energy healing has met me time and time again, showing me just how deeply we are connected to the greatness within us and around us. i have witnessed its transformative power not only within myself, but also within those with whom i have been privileged enough to share it. if this offering is something that feels calling, i would be honored to hold that space for you.

reiki is the universal life force energy that flows through all living beings and a healing modality rooted in love and light. reiki practitioners channel source energy to initiate the recipient’s natural healing processes. this often occurs through gentle, light touch. as a practitioner, i am here to hold space for you as the movement of energy facilitates relaxation, stress relief, or the release of trauma and conditioning that is held in the body.
reiki can be beneficial for anyone looking for support within their physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual well being. it is important to know that i, myself, do not heal you. one of the most remarkable parts of the human experience is that we are our own healers. within a reiki practice, i am merely a channel for the energy and love to flow through as it finds its way to you.

the best way to prepare for an energy healing session is by giving yourself a cushion of time before and after your session to be with yourself. you are deserving of this time and space to drop into your body. i always encourage those moving into a reiki practice to eat a nourishing meal and stay hydrated prior to a session as well as to dress in comfortable clothing.

we will begin with a brief conversation to touch base on what brought you in and how you’re feeling. as we move into energy healing, you will rest on a mat with your shoes off. if this is not accessible for you we will find another position based on your personal needs.
reiki is typically a hands-on practice, however for those not comfortable with physical touch it can be performed with my hands hovering slightly above the body. i will apply light touch to your head, face, ears, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, chest, stomach, hips, legs, and feet in congruence with the flow of energy. i will occasionally shift your body’s position based on how the energy is moving.
once the energy healing portion of the session is complete, we will reconnect on how you are feeling and whether anything came up for you. i will offer my insights from the session and we will connect on how you can best honor yourself in relation to your experience.

one of the beauties of energy healing is that its impact is unique to each person and each session. during an energy healing practice you may experience different sensations throughout your body such as tingling, warmth, pressure, or coolness. it is not uncommon for people to cry or laugh or experience a range of emotions as energy is moving through the body.
common experiences at the conclusion of a practice include, but are not limited to, feelings of peace and tranquility, softness, warmth, cathartic release, clarity, and affirmation. the impacts of energy healing have the potential to show up beyond the first few hours after a session and may bring certain emotions and understandings to the surface days or even weeks later as our bodies process the information and guidance.
i always encourage those leaving a session to nourish themselves with intention, drink an abundance of water, and to honor exactly what they need.

single sessions work great for “energy tune ups,” a reset and refresh, or just a little tlc! multiple sessions are of benefit if you are working through any energetic blockages that are calling for more attention. this could mean scheduling a number of sessions over the course of a few months, or even multiple sessions in a week depending on what you’re experiencing.
